Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

At the time it was built in 1983, the 64 story, 901 foot high Transco Tower (later renamed the Williams Tower) was the tallest building in the world outside of a central business district. Designed by Johnson/Burgee Architects, it has become a Houston icon and is visible from almost anywhere in the city. I once saw the pulse of its rotating beacon (visible in this photograph) from Austin while on a late night flight from Dallas to San Antonio.

My photographic images are primarily landscapes and cityscapes, the natural and the anthropological environments that surround us. Photography is, literally, “light writing” and I attempt through my images to write “stories in light” that reveal the non-tangible. Light itself is both matter and spirit, particle and wave. If photography is to record light faithfully and tell stories truthfully, it must somehow address not only the material but the spiritual, the non-tangible, the Energy infused into all physical objects and their interrelationships.
